WBA Policy Center

If you and your business do not participate in the shaping of public policy, you will be governed by those who do.

The WBA Policy Center was created to be the eyes, ears, and voice for Whatcom County business owners and industry leaders who don’t necessarily have the time to keep up with the thousands of burdensome rules and regulations being created at the federal, state and local levels that harm their businesses.

The WBA Policy Center engages in fact-based business research, education, communication and advocacy for its members on issues deemed important to local business success and community prosperity. The WBA Policy Center has influence and credibility because it gathers credible data and information and shares it in a thoughtful, respectful and solution-focused manner.

Rather than dealing with harmful policy on your own after it has been implemented, the WBA Policy Center proactively works with all its members and coalitions to advance policy issues that support business success on your behalf, and advocates against those harmful to local business by informing, engaging, organizing and advocating.

There is strength in numbers. Your support can make an impact. We invite you to join us by supporting the WBA Policy Center.
